My optometrist, or everyone's optometrist here, is Dr. Theresa Chew and she has always been one of the nicest/accommodating eye doctor you would ever meet. I remember being super nervous a long while ago, but she had such a calm and patient demeanor that it made me feel less scared about getting my eye examined.


Also, when it comes to appointments and walk-ins, if you ever come in to the front desk people without calling them, they'll tell you when would be the most convenient for you to go in for an exam. I would come back all the time because they're so helpful and the prices here are VERY reasonable.

I love the location on the outskirts of Chinatown, but you come here for the friendly, helpful, warm, welcoming service! Loved the people at the front desk as well as Dr. Chew. I didn't have an appointment for a Sunday and didn't wait long.


The eye exam was quick and harmless and Dr. Chew was so great about making me feel relaxed even when my eyes got slightly uncomfortable. I haven't had my eyes checked in a longggg time--they've just gotten worse over time--so I was a little confused throughout the whole process but everything went smoothly!

Very Kind Doctor and Great Bedside Manners. This is the place to go if you're uninsured and on a budget. Her prices are extremely affordable and provides the best care for the value. She doesn't judge or make any sales pitch if you buy glasses or not from her clinic as she's running a community based model.

She also doesn't rush and takes extra time with you to make sure you have the most accurate prescription and will review any changes with you about your eyes in full explanation. For example, my left eye nearsightedness has magically improved and she showed me the difference with and without the magnification powers from my last prescription.
